Protecting our visitors’ privacy is extremely important to us. We promise that this will be a dynamic website with ongoing improvements, but our attention to security will remain constant. If it becomes necessary to revise our privacy policy, we will post changes so that our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website. Our website contains links to other sites, so please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of such other websites. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of all websites that collect personal information.

Collection of Candidate Information

In-House Only* does not disclose information about visits to the website. We do not disclose personal information (such as name, address, email address, telephone number) to any outside parties, unless candidates give us permission to do so or required by law.

Candidate Members who use the website may input resume profile information onto the Candidate Registration Page for prospective employers to search. Candidate information will drop into a secured database that will assign each member a candidate number. All identification fields (name, address, email address, and telephone numbers) are locked to outside users including clients. Uploaded documents including resumes, major matter summaries, transcripts, and other documents or records that might complete a candidate’s dossier are kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without the candidate’s permission.

Use of Candidate Information

Once Registered Clients are activated, they will be able to search the diversity database for prospective candidates by selected areas such as state of residence, practice area, law school and date of graduation, general description of current employer and foreign language proficiency. If there are candidates who appear to fit the client’s needs, the client will contact us, give us the candidate number, and then IHO* will contact the candidates and identify the prospective employer. If the candidate agrees to be submitted to the client, IHO* will work with the candidate to complete an IHO* presentation that generally includes a resume, major matters summary and a letter of introduction prepared by IHO*. Documents in the presentation may include the candidate’s name but will not include the candidate’s addresses and/or telephone numbers. All candidate presentation documents are stamped with IHO* contact information only. IHO* does not at any time disclose a candidate’s contact information to a third party unless asked to do so by the candidate or required by law. However, once the client interviews the candidate, IHO* can no longer guarantee the candidate’s privacy of information. Any disclosure of contact information at that point will be deemed to have come outside of our control and not attributable to us in any way.
